Update on Annabelle.  She looks like a different horse from the one I originally met on August 3rd,
2009.  The changes in her body are significant.  Her mane and tail are soft and all one color.  Her coat is
thick and soft.  Her hooves looked great, no chips, big and healthy, no thrush.  The biggest difference I
noticed with her was her body condition.  She flowed, her muscles flowed, the weight was even, she
looked 10 years younger.  Her body looked like all the pieces fit where they were supposed to fit, she
no longer had the look of a disjointed horse.  Her tail hairs were no longer curled up tightly.  And most
of all, she didn't seem at all anxious.  She was relaxed and happily eating her hay.

Annabelle was on a loosely mineral balanced diet from 8/09 to 9/10 - meaning she was getting mineral
minimums met, but the mineral ratios were still off.  From 9/10 to present she was on a much tighter
mineral balanced diet - minimums met but also the mineral ratios were balanced.  I believe the changes
in her body & coat condition really reflect the shift from loosely balanced to tightly balanced.

Photo below left taken today, 2/14/11 photo below right taken 8/3/09.  Notice the total change in the
tail hairs.  On the 2/14 photo the tail hairs are all flat, relaxed and hanging down.  Nothing is curled
up or tinged a lighter color than the rest of her body.  The muscling in her hind end is far more
symmetrical now.  She still has a slightly prominent bump but overall her hind end is looking quite
well.
