I got to visit Nellie at her new ranch a few days ago. She looked great, almost like a
different horse. Below are some updated pictures.

Below is an updated Photo of Nellie Rose. She has continued to improve since she first
began her mineral balanced diet in 2009. The contour of her body and her coat were
what I noticed to be the biggest differences since the first time I met her and even
since our last meeting in late 2010. Her muscles were smooth and relaxed, her coat
looked very healthy, and the tail hairs at the top of her tail that had once all curled up
tightly, were now laying completely flat and relaxed. Her hooves were waxy and hard.
Below is a photo from August 3, 2009, you can compare the two photos. You can
really see a shift in her coat color from a somewhat yellow hue in 09 to a bright
reddish copper in 11. You can also clearly see her tail hairs all curled up tight at
the top of her tail in 09 and in 11 they are relaxed, just like her. Shes also really lost
that ridge that once ran along the top of her back. Shes really let go of the level of
tension she used to carry right under her skin
