Sugar graduates from boots to casts. We really weren't sure how this would turn out, but the
transition has proved to be a HUGE success. Sugar is completely comfortable in her casts. She
seems to love them. They give her complete freedom to move how ever she wants and at what ever
speed she wants. The speed she seems to be choosing, is full run with numerous bucks and kicks
thrown in. I will definitely get some updated Video of her this week. Below are some photos of
Sugars hooves just prior to casting and then the casting process & result.

The casts didn't work out to good for Sugar. She needs more flexibility, so the boots proved to be the
right thing for her.

Sugar has graduated to a paddock with a friend. This has been several years in the making. She is
doing fantastic. She is even spending time without her boots on, and doing well.
