Still no baby. Everyday there are more changes in her body, her udders, and her attitude. I think when
the weather warms up a bit, we may get a foal. I haven't been working with her at all on her ground work,
thats on hold until after the foal is born. I have just been loving her, petting her and feeding her, the
later is her favorite. You can see evidence of her favorite past time if you look at her forelock in the
picture above, hanging from her forelock is a tell tale piece of oat hay. We love her allot.

Still no baby. I don't know how much bigger poor Layla can get. She is so huge. Her belly has really
dropped, it looks like a big V from the side. Her rump is very mushy now, the muscles are loose and
ready for baby to come out. Her udders are totally full. She has allot less energy than she did. Shes not
enjoying her food nearly as much as before, which is probably the biggest sign that baby is on the way.
Above picture - You can see how round poor Layla is, she is positively bulging.
Below picture - Her belly has really dropped and you can see how loose the muscles are in her rump.
Shes very ready for the baby to come.
Below - This is a picture of her udder from behind, you can see how full they already are.

Still No baby. Layla's grumpy and moody. She can't decide what she wants. She calls to me to take her
out of her foaling stall and move her to her big paddock. An hour or so in the big paddock and she
calls to me to move her back to her foaling stall. Poor girl, I can't imagine how it must feel to be that
pregnant.
