Laylas getting very uncomfortable now. Tonight shes really biting at her stomach and looking at it
allot, probably in disbelief, poor girl. She just continues to get bigger. There are some changes with
her teats, its hard to get a very good look but it appears she has wax. If thats the case, It won't be to
much longer before she has the foal.

Layla had a girl. She a beautiful big charcoal colored filly. I will post lots of pictures later today.

Heres one not to long after she gave birth
Her name is Shadow. Shes about 14 hours old now. Everythings going well so far. The vet will be out
in the morning to check blood levels on baby, and make sure that mom is healing ok. Layla is
aggressively protective of her baby. I haven't been able to enter the pen all day. Shadow is eating
well, sleeping lots, and having a good old time experiencing her new environment.
