Poor Sam, he is soooo sore this morning.  I really feel for him.  That said, hes doing fantastic, very
little swelling, the site looks really clean and not allot of drainage.  I took him out for his daily walk (it
was supposed to be a trot for 15 minutes, no way, not today) he didn't want to leave his paddock.
Eventually I convinced him it would be a somewhat pleasurable walk, so he came out of his paddock.
We walked all over the property, over the bridge a few times, then when he started to get really sore
and a little bored, I took him outside the property.  That perked him right up, hes never been all the
way outside.  We walked down the long gravel road that is flanked by big open green fields.  He loved
it, he watched everything.  He even forgot about his pain a little bit and picked up the pace.  We
walked for about 30 minutes.  I know the vet wanted 15 minutes of trotting, but that just seemed to be
to much for him this morning.  We'll go out again in the evening.

Here are some pictures from his outing this evening.

Sam is recovering great.  The swelling is going way down.  He still has a little edema on his midline, but
I suspect that will be gone soon as well.  Hes just started willingly trotting and rolling again.

Sam is doing fantastic!  His surgery site is completely healed up, the edema is all gone, and the
testosterone is on its way out.  Hes becoming a very well behaved little guy.  I recently introduced him
to his new paddock mate, Jasper.  We (Jaspers owner Michelle) let the two run around together in the
arena so they could meet on neutral ground.  It went well, we are going to give it a try next week.
